Bore out a Door to Add a Lock
“Fresh Lock Installation”
How do you add a deadbolt to a door with only one hole?
Drill another hole.
We can add locks to wood, fiberglass or steel doors. All you have to do is choose what type of lock you want and how high or low you want it set. We are able to match the back-set of your knob, whether is is 2 3/4″ or 2 3/8″. The standard distance between the two locks is 5 1/2″ on center. We recommend standard vertical spacing in addition to matching the back-set.
We have a healthy stock of deadbolts, you can choose a color and we will match up the knob/lever key-way with new deadbolt. We install strike into the door jamb as well. The return on your dollar doesn’t get any better than this. Call us today and make an appointment to have a deadbolt added to a door. Knobs do very little to protect you from forced entry they are easily kicked in.
